Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Technical writing experience
• Customer-facing experience
• Stable job history
Preferred Skills
• CAD experience for drawing customer parts and ordering tooling
• Manufacturing experience
• Textile, nonwoven, or automotive industry experience
• New product introduction experience
• Process optimization experience
• Experience with corrective actions and root cause analysis
• Experience developing control plans, setup sheets, and work instructions
• Experience supporting product trials, testing, and validation
Job Responsibilities
• Lead new product introductions from quote through full production launch
• Develop customer requirements, CAD designs, and tooling specifications
• Track project progress and timelines as the project gatekeeper
• Coordinate machinery installation and program launches
• Improve throughput, yield, and quality across production lines
• Develop and maintain setup sheets, work instructions, and control plans
• Identify and respond to quality trends and process variation
• Lead corrective actions and root cause analysis efforts
• Translate customer requirements into manufacturing specifications
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the plant
• Support product trials, testing, and validation activities
• Define and monitor critical product and process characteristics
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
