Material Planning Specialist ensures raw material availability for factory operations while improving supplier delivery performance, logistics costs, and inventory cash flow.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Production, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of material planning, inventory management, or related supply chain experience
• Experience in factory, industrial, and logistics environments
• Aerospace or automotive industry experience
• Experience with master production scheduling
• Experience with S&OP planning
• Purchasing experience
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience with Value Stream Mapping, Pull Flow, and Kanban
• Experience with forecasting and supply planning tools, including M3, SAP, or similar systems
Preferred Skills
• APICS CPIM or CPSM certification
• Experience improving supplier delivery performance
• Experience reducing inbound logistics costs
• Experience optimizing raw material inventory and cash flow
Job Responsibilities
• Ensure raw material supply and availability for factory operations
• Maintain the right product quantity at the right time for production needs
• Support material planning and inventory management activities
• Improve supplier delivery performance
• Support inbound logistics cost reduction initiatives
• Optimize cash flow related to raw material inventory
• Use forecasting and supply planning tools to support purchasing and material availability
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools to improve material flow and inventory processes
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
