Greenwood School District 50 is seeking reliable and safety-minded Bus Drivers to join our Transportation team for the 2025-2026 school year. Our drivers play a vital role in ensuring students arrive at school and return home safely each day.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes and schedules
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Comply with all traffic laws and district safety policies
• Maintain appropriate student discipline on the bus
• Participate in training sessions and demonstrate proficiency in bus operation
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (or ability to obtain)
• Satisfactory driving record (no more than 5 points)
• Ability to pass required physical, drug screening, TB test, and background checks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student safety and punctuality
Work Schedule & Pay
• 2025-2026 school year (exact schedules vary by route)
• Salary based on district transportation pay scale
