Long-Term Contract Opportunity
We are a recruiting and staffing agency partnering with a mission-driven organization to identify an experienced Advancement Services / Donor Relations Specialist. This is a contract opportunity supporting fundraising operations, donor engagement, and advancement initiatives, with flexibility in scope based on the candidate’s strengths.
Position Overview
This role supports donor relations, annual giving, and advancement services functions to ensure continuity of fundraising operations and a positive donor experience. The ideal candidate brings a well-rounded advancement background or deep experience in one key area such as donor relations, annual giving, or advancement services.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with donor acknowledgements, gift processing support, and stewardship activities
• Support annual giving campaigns and alumni outreach efforts
• Maintain donor records, reports, and data integrity within Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge
• Assist with campaign tracking, list management, and basic reporting/analytics
• Coordinate with Advancement, Marketing, and Finance teams as needed
Qualifications
• Experience in donor relations, annual giving, or advancement services
• Familiarity with fundraising operations, donor pipelines, and campaign support
• Experience with Blackbaud or Raiser’s Edge strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Customer-service mindset with the ability to engage professionally with donors and internal stakeholders
