Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pre Weigh Associate to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate preparation and weighing of materials necessary for production processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, materials handling, and safety protocols, contributing to the efficiency and quality of our production line. Duties Accurately measure and pre-weigh raw materials, ingredients, or components according to specified formulations and procedures. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials within the facility. Maintain precise records of weights, quantities, and batch information for traceability and quality control. Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards to uphold product integrity. Assist in packaging preparation by organizing materials for subsequent processing stages. Support laboratory teams by providing samples or materials for testing as required. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve process efficiency. Handle materials responsibly, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and inventory management. Collaborate with machining, packaging, and warehouse teams to facilitate seamless production operations. Requirements Prior experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in roles involving materials handling or pre-weighing. Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and CGMP standards. Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred. Basic laboratory experience or understanding of quality control testing procedures. Knowledge of packaging processes and materials management. Experience with machining or related technical skills is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication skills for teamwork across multiple departments. Warehouse experience is desirable to support inventory accuracy and logistics.
