About the Role Closet Factory is seeking a skilled and experienced Custom Closet Installer to join our professional installation team. This is not an entry-level position - we are looking for a craftsman with hands-on experience in custom closets, cabinetry, or millwork. Our clients expect precision, cleanliness, and professionalism. You’ll be responsible for turning detailed shop drawings into precise, functional installations that represent our company’s reputation for quality. Key Responsibilities Install custom-built closets, cabinetry, and other storage systems per detailed plans Review and confirm all measurements before starting work Cut and adjust materials using miter saws, table saws, and oscillating tools as needed Level, plumb, and secure systems to walls for perfect alignment and stability Adjust doors, drawers, and specialty hardware to ensure smooth operation Communicate clearly with clients and project managers on-site Maintain a clean, organized, and “white-glove ready” installation site Requirements Minimum 2 years of professional experience installing custom closets, cabinetry, or similar built-in systems Proficient with common installation tools (miter saw, table saw, oscillating tool, drill/driver, etc.) Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and installation plans Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Professional appearance and respectful client communication Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work safely in customer homes Performance Expectations Our installers are expected to maintain a steady and efficient daily installation pace that meets company productivity standards while upholding the highest quality and safety. This position requires strong time management and the ability to complete full installations independently, regardless of drive time or job size.
