FULL TIME Athens, GA, USA Réalta Technologies are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to support manufacturing operations across multiple production areas, including utilities and process control systems. This role will play a key part in ensuring the reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement of site execution systems, while also contributing to small-scale project delivery and system enhancements. The successful candidate will work across platforms including Emerson DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, PLCs and AVEVA PI, supporting both day-to-day operations and project activities in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. Job Responsibilities Provide day-to-day automation and process support across manufacturing areas and utilities systems. Support and maintain process control systems (e.g. DeltaV, PCS7, PLCs, AVEVA PI) to ensure reliable operations. Troubleshoot issues and support production activities, including shutdowns and start-ups. Execute and support change control activities, ensuring compliance with site procedures and GMP requirements. Contribute to small automation projects and system improvements (e.g. configuration changes, upgrades, testing). Maintain and update system documentation and SOPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support data integrity and validation activities (e.g. audit trails, periodic reviews, backup/restore). Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, investigations, and system enhancements. Collaborate with Production, QA, Engineering, and external vendors to deliver effective solutions. Support on-call / 24/7 operations as required. Job Requirements 5+ years’ experience in automation or process control within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment. Hands-on experience with DeltaV, PCS7, or PLC systems (any combination is fine). Experience supporting live manufacturing environments (troubleshooting, uptime, batch support). Strong understanding of GMP and change control processes. Experience delivering system changes or small automation projects. Familiarity with data integrity and validation principles (e.g. audit trails, periodic reviews). Ability to work cross-functionally with Production, QA, and Engineering teams. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to support an on-call / 24/7 environment.
