Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated LTS 3rd Grade Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic educational environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with educational standards, incorporating innovative teaching methods such as Montessori and literacy education techniques. Design engaging lesson plans that promote active learning in subjects including math, reading, writing, and social studies. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management best practices. Foster a supportive environment that encourages working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with special education needs or autism spectrum disorder. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and participate in professional development opportunities focused on childhood development and early childhood education. Communicate clearly with students, parents, and staff to support student growth, address concerns, and celebrate achievements. Requirements Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in third grade or similar settings. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with students with special needs or autism is highly desirable. Background in early childhood education, literacy education, math instruction, or preschool experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Demonstrated ability to work with children across various developmental stages and learning styles. Certification or licensure in elementary education or relevant field is required; additional training in Montessori or special education is a plus.
