We are working with a well-known hospitality and event venue in Sarasota that is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support high-volume event operations. Position Summary: The Assistant Manager will support hospitality and bar operations during large-scale weekly events, helping ensure a smooth, high-quality guest experience. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in high-volume hospitality who is comfortable leading staff, managing operations, and working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise bartenders and bar support staff during events Oversee bar operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies Assist with staff scheduling and coordination Reconcile POS reports and assist with closing procedures Maintain a professional, organized, and guest-focused environment Support light administrative tasks during the week as needed Qualifications: Previous experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles (restaurant, bar, hotel, or event environment preferred) Experience working in high-volume settings Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Ability to stay organized and perform under pressure Flexible availability, including SundaysSkills & Competencies: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Professional and guest-focused mindset Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable and team-oriented Assignment Type: Seasonal role with potential for longer-term opportunity based on performance and business needs Schedule: Part-time, approximately 25–30 hours per week (Sundays required) Compensation: $20 - $25/hour Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week Work Location: In person
