This is a great role for people who enjoy variety and dynamic workdays! As directed by the foreman, you'll help install, align, and test the functionality of loading dock components (dock levelers, shelters, seals, bumpers, and vehicle restraints) and commercial doors (overhead, sectional, high-speed, etc.). As you work, you'll document your daily activities and follow all safety protocols/installation guidelines. DOCK AND DOOR INSTALLER QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of related mechanical, welding, electrical, and/or hydraulics experience Construction experience Installation experience Proficiency with electronic communication tools, document submission devices, and related work applications Ability to effectively communicate in person and over email Ability to think outside the box, solve practical problems, and handle concrete variables in situations with limited standardization Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school degree or GED equivalent Valid driver's license in good standing Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills Physical Requirements Ability to frequently stand, reach, grasp, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, and crawl with minimal sitting breaks Ability to wear all PPE Ability to lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100+ pounds Ability to work in noisy environments and all kinds of weather conditions Ability to read, write, and follow directions Bonus Qualifications Experience installing/repairing overhead doors Positive attitude, a coachable mindset, and a drive to keep learning Apply now!
