Quality Technician Shift Available: 2nd Shift, 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday. Job Summary We are actively sourcing for a detail-oriented Quality Technician for a critical temp-to-hire opportunity with a premier manufacturing partner in the Alburtis, Pa area. The Technician will be essential in maintaining product quality by performing precise inspections, testing, and documentation across all stages of production. This role requires technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and is an excellent pathway to a long-term position with a leading industry company. Key Responsibilities : Perform comprehensive incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections and audits of components, materials, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring and testing equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify conformance to engineering specifications, tolerances, and cosmetic standards. Identify, segregate, and document all non-conforming products (NCs) and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions (CAPA). Track, analyze, and report inspection results and quality defect trends for Statistical Process Control (SPC) and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate, organized quality documentation and inspection records for traceability. Provide technical support to engineering teams during product qualification and process validation. Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies: 2-3 years of relevant technical experience in QC or a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. Strong working knowledge of quality control standards and inspection procedures. Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proficiency in using precision metrology equipment. Basic math skills and computer literacy, including the ability to utilize QC or QMS software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and cross-functional collaboration. Relevant quality/technical certifications (a plus). Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, equipment). Requires periods of standing/sitting, repetitive hand motions, and sustained visual concentration. Ability to lift or maneuver materials up to 50 lbs periodically.
