Southern Spring and Stamping is an established air- conditioned manufacturing company in Venice and is taking applications for full time employment. SSS manufactures springs, metal stampings, sheet metal products as well as some machined products. Current openings are for motivated individuals in general manufacturing. The ideal candidate would be positive, have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Hours are Monday-Friday 7-3:30 with available overtime. Responsibilities: - Attention to detail - Must be on time and ready to work - Ability to work with others and follow directions Qualifications: - Previous factory, sheet metal, metal stamping or spring experience a plus - Lift up to 50 lbs - Ability to meet physical demands involving extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching - Perform verbal and/or written instructions including basic arithmetic Pay determined by qualifications.
