Manual Machinist

Monday-Thursday
$30.00 - 37.00 per hour Our locally owned, small business is looking for a manual machinist to join our team. Building high quality, small tools, performing and overseeing CNC and Manual machining operations, and ensuring high quality standards are consistently being met.
Job Responsibilities for a Manual Machinist:
• Setting up, tooling, and operating manual and CNC machinery.
• Programming CNC Lathes.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Measuring components and finished products to match specifications.
• Adjusting machinery and tools to address errors in production.
• Inspecting machinery and performing minor repairs.
• Additional duties such as soldering, brazing, and induction heating components.
• Assist with other production tasks as required.
Qualifications for a Machinist:
• 2+ years experience operating Manual and CNC machinery.
• Desire to be in a stable, long-term work environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational/Technical schooling.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
