Job Title: Document Writer / Document Analyst (QC/QA)
Location: Onsite in Athens, GA
Duration: 2-Year Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $45,000-$50,000 on a contract rate
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Document Writer / Document Analyst to support a quality-focused team by managing and maintaining controlled documents and processes. This role will centralize document ownership currently distributed across multiple team members and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Author, revise, and maintain controlled documents, including SOPs and methods
• Coordinate and route documents through review and approval workflows
• Manage periodic document reviews (e.g., 3-year review cycles)
• Address and resolve comments or issues raised by analysts related to methods or SOPs
• Oversee and manage Change Controls, including routing and tracking through a designated system (e.g., Salesforce or similar tool)
• Facilitate document-related training workflows and ensure proper documentation of changes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and alignment with quality standards
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in document control, technical writing, or a related field
• Strong technical writing and document management skills
• Background in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) strongly preferred
• Candidates with QA experience should have a solid understanding of QC concepts
• Experience managing Change Controls and document routing systems
• Ability to interpret technical content and translate required changes clearly and accurately
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
