Due to rapid client growth and the upcoming retirement of a senior partner, we have a definitive succession path available for a motivated professional. This is a rare opportunity to step into a decision-making role with a clear, short-term track to firm ownership.
The Opportunity Unlike firms with vague "partnership tracks," this role is a strategic necessity for our leadership transition. You will manage a diverse portfolio, act as a primary advisor to business owners, and prepare to take over a high-performing book of business as a future shareholder.
What You Will Do
• Strategic Oversight: Lead tax planning and review for businesses and individuals.
• Client Advisory: Serve as a face of the firm, building relationships within the Sarasota community.
• Succession Leadership: Collaborate with current partners to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
• Technical Excellence: Maintain high-quality standards in complex tax preparation and review.
What We Are Looking For
• Experience: 7-10 years in public accounting with an active CPA license.
• The "Plus": Experience with High-Net-Worth individuals is preferred but not mandatory.
• Mindset: A proactive, community-focused professional with "ownership" potential.
• Presence: Excellent communication skills for high-touch client interaction.
• Commitment: This is a 100% on-site role. We are looking for candidates already in the area or those ready to relocate to Sarasota.
Compensation & Path to Ownership
• Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 (Based on experience and productivity).
• Bonus: $20,000 - $40,000 annual range.
• Equity: A transparent, accelerated path to shareholder status.
