Job Summary
The Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System’s (SMHCS) Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Manager is responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day operations of the SMHCS Central GME office as well as the oversight and administrative support of ACGME, Non-ACGME, and other Non-Standard Training program managers, program coordinators, and administrative support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Require an associate degree in related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
- Require five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant experience, preferably in an academic setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to interact professionally and maintain confidentiality with broad range of leaders across the health system.
- Prefer excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects with careful attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines.
- Prefer strong problem-solving skills, with ability to formulate practical solutions.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to interpret and apply hospital, governmental and accrediting body, Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), policies to support compliance.
- Prefer advanced competency in a paperless computer environment and understanding of data integrity standards (MS Office Suite, Adobe Professional, document scanning/storage, web-based applications and tools, etc.), working       knowledge of New Innovations Residency Management System a plus.
