Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Lab Technician I to support operations within a regulated vaccine manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in lab and production support within the life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Support production operations by preparing and maintaining equipment used in manufacturing processes
• Perform Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) processes on mobile equipment
• Prepare and sterilize equipment using autoclaves
• Perform decontamination of garments, equipment, and materials
• Follow daily production schedules and support team priorities
• Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
• Review and maintain accurate documentation for compliance purposes
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment and process issues
• Support training efforts for new team members as needed
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and help resolve process deviations
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior lab or manufacturing experience preferred (but not required)
• Basic understanding of GMP or regulated environments is a plus
Skills & Competencies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar systems
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
