Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an Vaccine Manufacturing Technician. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma and a working knowledge of cGMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
• Perform process duties supporting the production of Boehringer Ingelheim vaccines, ensuring compliance with safety and sterility standards
• Work within the tank and central services department to support vaccine manufacturing activities
• Support production schedules by following the Tank and Central Services scheduling board
• Perform steam in place (SIP) and clean in place (CIP) of mobile process equipment
• Prepare and sterilize process equipment by autoclaving
• Decontaminate garments, equipment, and roller bottles via autoclaving
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures during process execution
• Assist with training and coaching current and new employees on required skills
• Review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance, maintaining technical data and support documentation
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions
• Support site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control management
• Demonstrate a commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives
• Assess individual performance with a focus on continuous improvement (AAI)
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of cGMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing
• Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a complex environment
• Basic math skills and troubleshooting skills for equipment and processes
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability
• Preferred laboratory and manufacturing experience
