Sigma Inc seeks skilled Filling Technicians for a 6-month contract at our client's Athens, GA facility. Operate aseptic filling lines, autoclaves, canning machines, programmed freezers in a cleanroom environment. Perfect for mechanically inclined candidates comfortable with continental shifts and liquid nitrogen safety.
Continental Schedule (12-Hour Shifts) :
•
Week 1 : Work Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun (5 shifts)
•
Week 2 : Work Wed, Thu (2 shifts)
Average 42 hrs/week with long weekends off
Key Responsibilities :
•
Setup/operate filling machines, dry heat ovens, autoclaves, canning machines, programmed freezers, centrifugal spinners .
•
Pack frozen vaccines for BRT; perform quality volume checks.
•
Complete Oracle batch documentation and GDP practices.
•
Maintain cleanroom cleanliness; order supplies.
•
Work safely with liquid nitrogen in lab environment.
•
Mechanical troubleshooting with maintenance team.
•
Follow/revised SOPs; batch vaccines for filling.
Requirements :
•
High School Diploma/GED
•
Biology/science knowledge preferred
•
Mechanical diagnostics/troubleshooting aptitude
•
Cleanroom/aseptic filling experience
•
Lift 50 lbs , stand extended periods
•
Manual dexterity, visual acuity
•
Adapt to irregular continental hours
