Sigma Inc seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician III for a 12-month contract in Athens, GA . Handle routine/complex maintenance on infrastructure & clean utilities (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, high purity water, clean steam, cold storage, fire systems, compressed air) in a highly regulated GXP environment. $28-$38/Hour (DOE) .
Shift & Onboarding:

Primary : 5x8h – Tuesday-Saturday, 2nd Shift (4pm-12:30am)
•
Onboarding :
•
Week 1: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (ADM training)
•
Weeks 2-8: Sun-Thu, 1st Shift (8am-4:30pm)
Key Responsibilities:
•
Perform routine/complex maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, high purity water, clean steam, cold storage, fire systems, compressed air .
•
Conduct inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting for clean utilities.
•
Ensure GXP/FDA/EU compliance, complete documentation (work orders, logs, SAP-PM).
•
Read P&IDs, utility plans; maintain spare parts inventory.
•
Respond to emergencies; housekeeping; collaborate with engineers/contractors.
Requirements:
•
High School Diploma + Facilities Maintenance/HVAC-R Technical Degree preferred.
•
5+ years in 2+ areas: Electrician, HVAC, Mechanics, Fire Systems, Cold Storage, Water Systems .
•
Skills: Electricity, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC ; problem-solving; communication.
•
Basic computer/SAP-PM; agile learner.
•
Understanding of GXP, national codes, USDA/EMEA preferred.
