Job Description Part-time Job Announcement
Position: Part-time Adult Education Integrated Education & Training Instructor
Location: All campuses
Department: Adult Education
Reports to: Executive Director of Adult Education & Walton Campus
Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.
Deadline to Apply: April 27, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
• Develop individualized lessons aligned to the SSLOs of each IET that require the usage of higher-order thinking and skills by the population served.
• Plan and deliver integrated, effective and comprehensive instruction based on the appropriate curriculum guides and the needs of the population to be served for the duration of the IET program.
• Plan for and utilize occupational training expertise, to include volunteers, in the IET program for advancement of workforce preparation skills.
• Develop, maintain, and record indicators of progress for each student.
• Work with the IET Manager to develop and implement strategies to: 1) increase the number of participants in the IET program and 2) enhance the current IET programs in an effort to recruit and sustain participants.
• Work with the IET Manager to develop articles on classes and/or progress of program/students for submission to local media.
• Promote all adult education programs, specifically IETs, to public and private organizations and to the general public.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Business Education, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree
• Understand adult education systems within the Technical College System of Georgia.
