Machine Operator-Coiling
Ensure that product is manufactured and inspected according to the instructions from the set-up person and other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
• Use of gauges and measuring devices to verify product conformity.
• Make adjustments to the process when advised by the Set-up person.
• Assume responsibility for quality throughout the entire manufacturing process. Communicate any issue that might compromise quality.
• Understand and maintain all production documentation, blue prints, main and mini travelers, material certifications, special instructions and part identification.
• Adhere to the procedures set forth in the quality management system.
Continual Improvement
• Participate in Corrective and Preventative Action process as CAPA "owner " or team member. Responsibilities include facilitating root cause analysis, creating an action plan, verifying that corrective actions effectively "kill " the problems and applying lessons learned to other product lines as appropriate.
• Ensure that work area is clean and organized according to 5S principles.
