Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in industrial components, is seeking a Baldor Cast Iron Team Tech C to join their team. As a Baldor Cast Iron Team Tech C, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-quality cast iron parts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, self-motivation, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Baldor Cast Iron Team Tech C
Location: Athens, GA
Pay Range: $18
Shift: Night and Evening Shifts (2nd and 3rd shifts)
What's the Job?
• Perform a variety of duties to machine cast iron parts to specifications
• Set up and operate equipment, gauges, and measuring devices
• Record work progress and work collaboratively with teammates to meet departmental goals
• Assist maintenance in troubleshooting equipment issues
• Ensure safety procedures, including lock out/tag out, are followed diligently
What's Needed?
• Ability to set up all equipment for various job assignments
• Strong mechanical skills and self-motivation
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Willingness to work in an industrial manufacturing environment, including shift work
• Good attendance and punctuality
