Location: Athens, Georgia (Onsite)

Shift Details
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• 40 Hours per Week
The Electrophysiology Technician is responsible for supporting cardiac electrophysiology procedures and ensuring effective patient care coordination. This role involves assisting physicians, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring smooth execution of interventional procedures.
The technician will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care and support procedural success.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Coordination
• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Serve as a coordinator between multiple healthcare disciplines
• Assist in ensuring well-organized and efficient patient care delivery
Clinical Support & Procedures
• Assist physicians and nurses during electrophysiology procedures
• Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately
• Support interventional radiology and cardiac procedures
Monitoring & Documentation
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
• Ensure proper tracking of patient progress
Care Planning & Discharge
• Assess patient needs and coordinate discharge planning
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for smooth patient transitions
• Ensure continuity of care post-procedure
Must-Have Qualifications
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician
• Experience in interventional radiology or cardiac procedures
• Strong understanding of patient monitoring and procedural support
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in cardiac electrophysiology labs
• Experience with advanced cardiac monitoring systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
