Vice President of Digital Product
Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Vice President of Product Management to build and scale a modern product organization that drives measurable business growth through digital products within a modern Product Operating Model. This leader will be responsible for building and scaling empowered, cross-functional product teams that deliver customer-centric, outcome-driven solutions.
The VP of Product Management will champion continuous discovery, rapid experimentation, and strong collaboration across product, engineering, and design to drive meaningful business and customer outcomes. This role requires balancing technical knowledge, business acumen, and influence-based leadership to define the strategy and direction for multiple product teams while shaping how digital products are built and delivered across the organization.
This role reports to the SVP, Digital & Customer Data and will collaborate closely with Technology, Customer Success, Sales, and separate business line leaders — serving as both a driver of outcomes and a connector across internal teams. Senior-level interaction is required to position digital products as a foundation for company growth and to articulate how product innovation, reliability, and user experience drive adoption, retention, and revenue outcomes. This role will oversee and develop product team leads across each of these domains, providing strategic direction while ensuring operational excellence through enabled team structures.

Product Strategy & Direction
• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives
• Establish and prioritize product roadmaps across teams, balancing impact, feasibility, and speed to market
• Create compelling product positioning and messaging in competitive markets
Product Operating Model Leadership
• Implement and reinforce a Product Operating Model focused on empowered teams, not feature factories
• Shift the organization from output-driven to outcome-driven product development
• Ensure teams are solving real customer problems through continuous discovery practices
Team Leadership & Development
• Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams of Product Managers, Product Designers, and Engineering leaders and other functions necessary to deliver the products through coaching, feedback, and career pathing
• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Lead across teams through ambiguity and influence-based leadership
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment
• Partner across Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and business leaders to deliver aligned product outcomes
• Align product strategy with company objectives through strong executive collaboration and clear communication
• Act as a unifying force across teams while maintaining the autonomy of empowered product teams
Product Discovery & Delivery Excellence
• Champion dual-track development (discovery and delivery)
• Ensure teams validate ideas through user research, prototyping, and experimentation
• Promote best practices in agile, lean, and iterative development
Customer Centricity & Market Focus
• Instill deep customer empathy and ensure decisions are grounded in qualitative and quantitative insights
• Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics
• Drive product-market fit through continuous user feedback and data-driven iteration
• Champion user experience excellence to deliver differentiated, high-value products
Product Lifecycle Management
• Establish OKRs and performance metrics to measure product success
• Monitor product performance and iterate quickly based on data and insights
• Track and optimize key metrics including acquisition, retention, and lifetime value
• Leverage analytics, AI/ML, and data platforms to inform decisions and drive innovation
Business & Operational Excellence
• Manage product budgets, development schedules, and resource allocation
• Drive subscription-based or usage-based revenue growth and customer satisfaction
• Ensure digital products deliver reduced implementation costs, flexibility, and fast access to updates

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Product Management, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in product management or digital product leadership within SaaS, enterprise, or platform environments
• 5+ years of senior leadership experience with a proven track record of defining product strategy, launching and scaling digital products, and delivering measurable business impact
• Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and lead high-performing, cross-functional product organizations across engineering, design, and business teams
• Deep expertise in modern product management practices, including discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, agile delivery, and operating within or transforming to a product-based operating model
• Customer-obsessed and data-driven product leader who leverages market research, customer insights, and analytics to drive innovation, scalability, and business outcomes
• Strong technical and business acumen, with familiarity in SaaS architectures, cloud platforms, modern development methodologies, and enterprise-grade scalability, reliability, and compliance standards
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, influence without direct authority, and align diverse stakeholders to drive outcomes
• Exceptional communicator with strong executive presence, capable of translating complex technical concepts and product strategy for senior leadership and enterprise stakeholders
