IT Core Solutions Administrator I: The role of the Core Solutions Administrator I is to gain operational knowledge of and to support critical core applications used by Credit Union staff. This person will aspire to become a subject matter expert of critical core solutions utilized by the Credit Union that provide the necessary tools to staff and members supporting the core member share and loans database, imaging systems, check 21 systems, job automation systems, VoIP systems and other critical core application systems. The Core Solutions Administrator I will participate in supporting daily, monthly and annual operational duties to ensure accuracy and stability of member data processing, as well as programming support for reporting, data files and forms that are requested from the core member applications. Responsibilities Strive to obtain in-depth knowledge of critical core systems that support the member share and loan databases, imaging systems, check 21 systems, job automation tools, VoIP systems. Contribute input to project teams/initiatives as needed. Assisting with developing, executing and monitoring daily, monthly core operations procedures to ensure stability, accuracy, and availability, actively participating in monitoring daily operational member data processing items checklists Provide programming support for requested reports, data files, and forms supporting organizational reporting and efficient workflows Work with vendors and communicate with staff and IT management regarding periodic system application fixes and release updates, including testing and validation when necessary. Maintain open channels of communications with vendors to stay up to date on system maintenance windows and education available to maintain in-depth knowledge of system capabilities Work with staff and core solutions vendors on troubleshooting system performance and configuration issues in a timely fashion, holding vendors accountable for SLA’s that are in place Assist in developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans, and periodic testing for all systems in the areas of responsibility THIS JOB DESCRIPTION MAY NOT BE ALL-INCLUSIVE AND EMPLOYEES ARE EXPECTED TO PERFORM ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED AND DIRECTED BY MANAGEMENT. Experience with Jack Henry & Associates core solutions platforms a plus. Two-year degree with a concentration in Information Technology, Business, or Financial related field a plus Three years of experience working in Financial Industry and/or core application support related positions Education/Certifications/Licenses Two-year college degree with a concentration in Information Technology, Business, or Financial related field a plus (or equivalent experience), or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school I nterpersonal Skills Courtesy and tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding fairly routine matters for the purposes of giving and obtaining information or instructions, updating or referring. Communications generally require shorter and not in-depth discussions. ADA Requirements Physical Requirements Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Working Conditions Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Mental and/or Emotional Requirements Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
Salary: $58,865.53 - $66,223.73 a year
