Job description: We are hiring Class A & Heavy Equipment Hauling Truck Drivers at DVC Trucking (Empire Group) Base Range pay is also based on experience. Open positions (Lowboy Driver, Tri-Axel Driver, roll off driver, Walking Floor) The Class A CDL Driver we are looking for enjoys driving over the road with the comforts of being home at night. You will need the ability to maintain good relationships with customers and provide unequaled service. A commitment and strong safety ethic along with looking forward to sharing your best-in-class driving knowledge is essential. A Day in the Life of our CDL Driver... - Check-in with the Transportation Coordinator and/or Transportation Manager - Pick up your newer model tractor from the yard, where personal vehicle parking is available - Proceed to hook up the equipment you are scheduled to operate for the day - Operate equipment such as roll-offs, dumps, and walking floors - Navigate the regional roadways on a daily basis - Visit base customers regularly, while enjoying a nice change of pace with seasonal projects - Maintain vehicle log, documentation of manifests, and work orders - Local drivers will return to the yard, park their tractor, and be home for night What you need to apply for CDL Driver: High School Diploma or GED equivalent *CDL Class A or B required Good driving record with less than 3 violations in the last 3 years Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
