Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and procedures Restrain and handle pets safely and compassionately Collect laboratory samples and assist with routine testing Prepare patients and equipment for surgery and dental procedures Monitor patients during treatment and recovery Administer medications and vaccines as directed Take and process radiographs (X-rays) Maintain clean and organized treatment and exam areas Stock and manage medical supplies and inventory Communicate with clients and provide basic pet care education Support team members and maintain a positive clinic environment Qualifications Previous veterinary care experience REQUIRED Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Compassionate and professional attitude toward pets and clients Reliable attendance and punctuality Willingness to learn and grow in the veterinary field Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry pets up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the day Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments Work Environment Team members may be exposed to: Animal bites or scratches Loud noises and strong odors Sick or injured animals Cleaning chemicals and medical equipment Safety protocols and training are always provided. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour Schedule: 4-10-hour shifts (7:15 AM-6:15 PM).
