In this role, you will guide the enterprise lean effort throughout the facility through leading, coaching, and executing lean innovation projects. If you are a dynamic self-starter with exceptional performance and focus on excellence, this is a great opportunity for you to join a global leader, put your talents to the test and accelerate your career!What you can look forward to in this role:Support a diverse customer base workforce with differing program management needs, providing simultaneous high-end project management services such as resource management and cost management across multiple programs.Strategic leader for the manufacturing operationOversee multiple program and project managers and the programs they are executing.Ensure professional program management techniques and tools are used to manage programs and projects through coaching and mentoringDevelop intercompany networks and execute a communication strategy to assist program managers in obtaining needed resources and cooperation, effectively removing roadblocks to ensure the success of the team.Deploy training and seminars to onsite partners to drive lean procedures to affect cost per unitSubject Matter Expert (SME) for lean tools and lean executionUse Key Performance indicators (Safety, People, Quality, Velocity and Cost) to elevate business performance and employee engagementA successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.Coaching Others: Knowledge of coaching and mentoring concepts and methods; ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals in learning and improving effectiveness.Process Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintain focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.Six Sigma Methodology: Knowledge of the concepts of Six Methodology; ability to use the methodology to improve the processes and procedures and control the improvements by eliminating root causes.Top Candidates for this position may also have:Extensive Experience in facility Lean Deployment over multiple value streamsExtensive demonstrated communication with facility leadershipDemonstrated success in project management and/or 6 Sigma experienceDemonstrated ability to be successful in a complex environment including the ability to establish personal networks in addition to leveraging existing relationships.Additional Information:The primary location for this position is Athens, GA.Domestic relocation assistance is availableSponsorship is not availableSummary Pay Range:$128,470.00 - $192,710.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
