Instructional Coach – Autism Support, Life Skills, & MDS Classrooms (BCBA Preferred)
Position Overview:
The Behavioral Consulting Network is seeking an experienced and collaborative Instructional Coach to support public school teachers working in Autism Support, Life Skills, and Multiple Disabilities Support (MDS) classrooms. This role focuses on building teacher capacity, strengthening instructional and behavioral practices, and improving student outcomes through coaching, modeling, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide in-class coaching and modeling of evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
• Support teachers in designing and implementing individualized programs for students with complex learning and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and administrators
• Support data collection, analysis, and instructional decision-making
• Facilitate professional development sessions as needed
Qualifications:
• Experience working in Autism Support, Life Skills, or MDS classrooms
• Strong background in special education, behavior supports, and differentiated instruction
• BCBA certification preferred; candidates pursuing BCBA certification are encouraged to apply
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
• Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with staff
Schedule & Flexibility:
• Flexible scheduling based on candidate availability and district needs
