Human Resources Generalist
Position Summary
Level Seven Commercial Cleaning is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support our operations in Athens, GA. This is a full-time, on-site role that partners closely with leadership and frontline teams to support onboarding, employee relations, HR operations, and day-to-day workforce needs in a fast-paced operational environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable being visible, responsive, and highly engaged at the site level. The HR Generalist will play an important role in helping leaders navigate workforce issues, supporting teammates through key employment processes, and reinforcing consistent HR practices across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Workforce Support
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters at the site
• Partner with leadership on attendance, performance, conduct, and workplace concerns
• Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and workplace expectations
• Assist with documentation, investigations, corrective action follow-up, and employee support
Onboarding & New Hire Experience
• Coordinate and lead onboarding to ensure a structured and consistent new hire experience
• Partner with recruiting and pre-employment teams to support a smooth transition from candidate to active teammate
• Support new hires through orientation, early integration, and initial workforce transition
• Help reinforce onboarding standards, communication, and accountability across the site
HR Operations & Systems
• Maintain employee data and support HR processes within Paycom
• Partner with payroll and operations on timekeeping questions, corrections, and related follow-up
• Ensure HR records, documentation, and system entries are accurate and timely
• Reinforce proper use of HR systems, processes, and required documentation
Site & Leadership Support
• Maintain a strong and consistent HR presence in Athens
• Build effective working relationships with supervisors, managers, and frontline teammates
• Support day-to-day workforce needs, staffing alignment discussions, and operational challenges
• Coach leaders on consistent application of policy, communication, and people practices
Safety, Compliance & Client Support
• Assist with workers’ compensation coordination, incident follow-up, and return-to-work processes
• Support safety-related processes, documentation, and communication
• Coordinate with client leadership and HR, as needed, to help ensure alignment with site requirements
• Help maintain compliance with company policies and employment-related practices
HR Programs & Initiatives
• Support implementation of HR initiatives such as onboarding improvements, engagement efforts, benefits communication, and open enrollment support
• Help ensure HR programs are executed consistently at the site level
• Identify opportunities to improve process consistency, communication, and teammate experience
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a multi-site, high-volume, or hourly workforce environment
• Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, and HR operations
• Experience with HRIS systems; Paycom preferred and Kronos/UKG experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with frontline leadership and teammates
• Sound judgment, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
Additional Role Details
• This is a full-time, on-site position based in Athens, GA
• Regular site presence is required to support leaders and teammates effectively
• Flexibility to respond to operational needs outside of standard business hours may be needed from time to time
• Candidates must be able to meet applicable client site access and onboarding requirements
