Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the Large Animal Internal Medicine unit based in Athens, GA. The Licensed Veterinary Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality animal care, assisting in veterinary procedures, administering anesthetics, educating clients about pet care, and supporting the veterinary team with day-to-day tasks. Key responsibilities include assisting in surgical and diagnostic procedures, maintaining medical records, and preparing animals for examinations and treatments.

• Proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care techniques to ensure the health and well-being of animals under your supervision
• Knowledge and experience in Veterinary Technology, including diagnostic and treatment procedures
• Skills in Anesthesiology, with the ability to monitor and administer anesthesia to animals
• Strong Client Education skills to communicate effectively with pet owners about animal health, behavior, and care
• Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Georgia (or eligibility for licensure) required
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• Organizational and attention-to-detail skills for maintaining accurate patient records
• Experience in a veterinary hospital or clinical environment is preferred
