We are looking for a hands-on Site Superintendent who can take ownership of daily field operations and keep projects moving efficiently.
Role Description
The Site Superintendent is responsible for day-to-day jobsite management , including coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedule, ensuring quality, and keeping projects organized and moving forward.
This is a field leadership role , not an office or project management position.
Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations on active residential and light commercial job sites
• Coordinate and manage all subcontractors and trades on site
• Maintain and enforce project schedules in coordination with project management
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and building codes
• Perform ongoing quality control and identify issues before they become problems
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure proper staging on site
• Prepare sites for inspections and ensure readiness
• Maintain daily logs, progress photos, and basic documentation (Buildertrend or similar)
• Communicate daily updates, issues, and progress to project management
• Identify and communicate potential change conditions or conflicts in the field
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of field experience in residential and/or light commercial construction
• Proven ability to run a job site and manage subcontractors independently
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and building practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and jobsite safety requirements
• Experience with Buildertrend or similar software is a plus (not required)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to commute to Reading, PA or relocate before starting work
Compensation
$65,000 – $75,000 base salary, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonuses.

Total compensation potential: $75,000 – $85,000+
