Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Urology PracticeOverview Our fast-paced, patient-centered urology practice is seeking a compassionate, motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing healthcare team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and who enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment. The right candidate will play an essential role in supporting providers, improving patient experiences, and helping our practice deliver exceptional care. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, values teamwork, and takes pride in providing attentive, respectful care to every patient. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient support and assist providers during clinical visits and procedures. Obtain and document vital signs, health histories, and medications accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols. Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families regarding care and procedures. Assist providers with clinical tasks, including learning placement and removal of catheters as needed. Ensure patient flow is efficient while maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere. Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure the highest level of patient care. Qualifications Certification as a CMA (required). Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate, patient-focused mindset. CPR certification preferred.
