Community Growth & Advocacy Manager (Part-Time) Location: Pottstown / Montgomery County Area (Field-Based) Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour (Plus mileage reimbursement) Hours: 10–15 hours per week The Mission Drowning is the #1 cause of accidental death for children ages 1–4. We are on a mission to change that statistic in the Pottstown region. As our Community Growth & Advocacy Manager, you will be the face of water safety, building strategic partnerships with educators, community leaders, and healthcare administrators to ensure every family in our area has access to life-saving "water literacy" education. Who You Are The Professional Advocate: You have a background in high-level sales or marketing, public relations, or non-profit community outreach. The Relationship Architect: You are a "Who" that knows how to navigate local organizations—from large organizations like school districts to the smallest local preschools—to find decision-makers. The Polished Presenter: You can present data-driven safety initiatives to a Board of Directors or lead an engaging, high-energy safety presentation for a classroom of preschoolers. The Mission-Driven Closer: You aren't just "visiting" locations; you are securing active partnerships that drive student enrollment and community safety. What You’ll Do Strategic Partnerships: Establish and manage "distribution hubs" for our water safety materials at local daycares, pediatric offices, libraries, and community centers. Educational Outreach: Deliver the Stop Drowning Now curriculum to daycares and preschools, transforming local schools into water-safety-certified partners. Event Leadership: Own our presence at regional festivals, health fairs, and safety events—managing the booth, engaging the public, and capturing leads. Advocacy Campaigns: Work with local parent groups and youth organizations to normalize "water literacy" as a standard part of early childhood development.
