Position: Boarding Attendant Location: Humane Pennsylvania & Spike & Tilly’s Pet Resort – Reading & Lancaster, PA Part-Time Weekday & Weekend positions available! Responsibilities: Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers with a warm smile and assist them with inquiries, pet adoptions, and boarding reservations. Provide knowledgeable guidance on pet care, adoption procedures, and boarding services. Manage check-ins and check-outs for boarding pets, and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ stay. Pet Adoptions: Facilitate the adoption process with compassion and professionalism. Conduct interviews with potential adopters, match them with suitable pets, and complete adoption paperwork. Animal Husbandry: Ensure the health and well-being of animals in our care. Assist with feeding, grooming, and administering medications as needed. Maintain clean and comfortable living environments for our animal residents. BENEFITS Starting rate of $13.85+ per hour, based on experience. THE PERSON The key skills and qualities of a Boarding Attendant: Passion for animals and dedication to their welfare. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in customer service, pet care, or animal welfare is preferred but not required.
