Adelphia Seafood , a growing wholesale and retail seafood distributor, is currently seeking a Manger of Quality Assurance . This key management position will be responsible for overseeing of the quality and safety of daily operations and scheduling in Adelphia’s production areas. The responsibilities include leading the food safety system as the on-site SQF (Safe Quality Food) Practitioner. Create and/or revise all food safety and HACCP Plan documentation in accordance with the SQF Code. Performs regularly scheduled GMP and internal audits. Experience in production and purchasing oversite is a must. The ideal candidate will be reliable, energetic, and highly motivated. Prior work history within the food industry, preferably with management or supervisory responsibilities, is required.
