Your Role & Impact As a Technical Account Specialist, you’ll serve as the bridge between our customers’ technical needs and our production team’s capabilities. You’ll ensure every custom order—from quote to delivery—is designed, priced, and executed with precision and profitability in mind. Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate, timely cost and lead-time estimates using Epicor ERP and advanced Excel modeling. Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to determine material specifications and manufacturing requirements. Partner with engineering and plant management to align labor, material, and capacity resources. Support business growth by cultivating customer relationships, attending trade shows, and identifying new opportunities. Conduct post-production evaluations to enhance quoting accuracy and streamline production efficiency. What You Bring Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proven Excel and ERP proficiency. Technical understanding of steel manufacturing, fabrication, and design. Attention to detail—especially in cost estimation, materials, and specifications. Professional communication skills for client interaction and report generation. Ability to balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing, or construction-related disciplines preferred.
