Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex systems, and executing repairs across a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment that supports our production goals and facility integrity. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure using schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues by interpreting schematics, using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, and applying mechanical knowledge to identify root causes. Perform repairs including welding, residential painting, electrical work, and mechanical adjustments to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and ensure seamless manufacturing processes. Maintain accurate maintenance records, complete work orders in CMMS software, and document all repairs or inspections performed. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met during all repair activities. Lead or support team efforts in safety audits, emergency responses, and continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance practices. Collaborate with production teams to coordinate scheduled downtime for maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations. Demonstrate leadership qualities by supervising junior technicians or trainees when required while fostering a safety-first environment. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting control panels, wiring diagrams, schematics, and PLCs. Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to perform repairs on metal structures or components. Mechanical knowledge encompassing pumps, conveyors, motors, HVAC systems, and general machinery repair. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work activities and collaborate with team members.
