Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Manager / General Manager to lead our vibrant hospitality team. Duties Lead and supervise all bar and restaurant operations, including staff management, shift scheduling, and customer service delivery Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure quality standards are met consistently Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and bar areas Train staff on food service procedures, POS operation, customer interaction, and safety protocols to foster a knowledgeable team Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and oversee daily financial reconciliations Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production, timely service, and high-quality culinary presentation Implement training & development programs for staff to enhance skills in food preparation, customer service, and management practices Monitor shift performance to optimize efficiency while maintaining a lively yet controlled environment suitable for casual dining or fine dining experiences Support banquet or catering events as needed to expand venue offerings and maximize revenue opportunities Requirements Proven management experience within the food industry, ideally in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings Extensive background in restaurant management with supervising experience across kitchen operations and food service management Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, culinary practices, and food safety standards Excellent leadership skills with a track record of staff training & development, interviewing potential team members, and fostering a positive team environment Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, cash handling, and shift management to ensure operational excellence Hospitality management experience with a focus on customer service excellence in both casual dining and fine dining environments Familiarity with hotel or bar experiences including barista or coffee expertise is a plus Exceptional communication skills paired with the ability to motivate teams under pressure while maintaining high standards of hospitality Join us as we create memorable experiences through exceptional food & beverage service!
