Position Responsibilities The Armed Security Transport Officer is responsible for the safe and secure transport of client property and assets. Officers work in a two-person team environment and must maintain constant vigilance during all operations. Responsibilities include: Maintain continuous security of assigned personnel, vehicles, and transported assets Safely pick up and deliver client property according to site-specific orders and operational procedures Remain alert to threats, hazards, or suspicious activity Conduct secure loading and unloading procedures Maintain proper chain-of-custody documentation Reconcile transported items and required documentation at the completion of assignments Adhere to CRPG Use of Force Policy and all applicable firearms regulations Follow Department of Transportation requirements when applicable Operate assigned vehicles safely and professionally Provide professional and courteous service to clients Complete Daily Activity Reports and required documentation accurately and on time Minimum Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds Ability to meet Department of Transportation requirements (if applicable) Valid state firearms certification (such as Act 235 in Pennsylvania, or applicable state equivalent) OR ability to obtain required licensing Ability to obtain any required state security officer license/guard card Must pass background investigation and drug screening Must maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times Preferred Qualifications Prior armed security experience Military or law enforcement background Experience in mobile patrol or transport operations Strong report writing skills De-escalation and conflict management training Work Environment This position requires constant situational awareness, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to operate in dynamic environments. Officers must remain alert at all times and be prepared to respond appropriately within the scope of CRPG policy and state law.
