Overview The Spayd’s Company specializes in custom pools, exceptional outdoor living spaces, home construction projects and landscape and hardscape projects. . We're looking for someone with solid masonry and concrete experience. What We're Looking For: Experience with masonry and/or concrete work (pavers, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fire features, flatwork, etc.) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Flexible and accommodating – ability to adapt to changing project needs and client requests Willingness to work winter snow removal – includes extended shifts, overnight work, and challenging weather conditions Ability to see the big picture while managing day-to-day tasks Professional demeanor when working directly with homeowners Respect for the trade, tools, equipment, and teammates Ability to read plans and work from custom designs Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented Valid driver's license What We Offer: · Competitive pay based on experience (Range of $32 to $42 per hour) · Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays · Health insurance · 401(k) with company match · All tools, equipment, and vehicles provided · A mix of creative, high-end residential projects, interior and outdoor projects · Opportunities to grow your skills, advance, and take on leadership responsibilities About Us: Our passion is creating stunning indoor and outdoor living spaces for clients who care deeply about the details.. In winter, we shift to indoor projects and snow removal services, which means our team generally works year-round whenever possible. Responsibilities Prepare work sites by setting up forms, scaffolding, and safety barriers for concrete pouring and masonry work Install concrete forms using schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise dimensions and placements Finish concrete surfaces with techniques such as troweling, floating, and caulking to achieve smooth, professional results Lay bricks, blocks, stone, or tiles with accuracy and attention to detail for patios, walkways, walls, or fireplaces Install rebar reinforcement according to specifications to strengthen structures and ensure safety standards are met Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for cutting, mixing, lifting, or shaping materials Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project requirements accurately and execute tasks efficiently Experience Proven experience in masonry or concrete installation on construction sites Skilled in concrete finishing techniques including stamping, staining, or sealing as needed for aesthetic projects Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, levels, and caulking guns; proficiency with power tools like mixers and saws Knowledge of rebar installation, metal stud framing, plastering, stucco application, roofing support structures, and tile laying is highly desirable Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols Experience reading blueprints or schematics for complex masonry or concrete projects; understanding of schematics related to renovation or restoration work Strong background in construction site safety practices along with the ability to work effectively within a team environment Join us in creating stunning outdoor spaces that inspire beauty and functionality!
