The University of Georgia's Spectrum of Care Pet Health Center is seeking a licensed Veterinary Technician to grow with the practice. This position monitors the receiving schedule, conducts technician appointments, inputs charges, takes specimen collections, provides patient treatments, submits RX refills, sedates and recovers patients, and fields questions by clients. This career opportunity plays an integral role in helping to train senior veterinary students and technician students with physicals, treatments, phlebotomy, bandaging, as well as assisting during patient receiving. This individual will also aid in diagnostic imaging, timely patient call backs, and surgical support with patient prep and as a scrub nurse.
