As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver essential support to clients across various needs, ensuring they receive respectful, attentive, and professional assistance in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort. Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed health routines under supervision. Support clients with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands. Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly. Follow care plans meticulously while adapting to individual client needs with flexibility and compassion. Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, observations, and any incidents in compliance with agency policies. Skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse clients. Experience working with elderly or disabled populations in a home setting preferred. Knowledge of basic health monitoring techniques and medication management. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Familiarity with medical terminology related to geriatrics, post-acute care, outpatient services, or hospital medicine is advantageous. Prior experience in settings such as Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, or Sub-acute care environments is highly valued. Certification in CPR or First Aid is a plus; ongoing training opportunities are available for skill development.
