Land Development Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 125k/year - Sarasota, FL Our client, and home builder and developer, is looking for a Land Development Manager to join their team. The Land Development Manager will be overseeing land development activities from site engineering, through all agency approvals while creating and maintaining the project budget, schedule, and cash flow, and oversee the project completion through the release of a certificate of completion and bond release. Responsibilities: Creates and maintains budgets for projects during feasibility to completion. Maintain cash flow for project's forecasted expenses in accordance with organizational goals Develops, maintains, and manages schedules for projects and executes activity within the appropriate time frames Helps select capable professionals to provide quality data and analysis related to land development activities as needed within established budgetary guideline Identifies site conditions, including soils, environmental, habitat, etc., and impacts on development capabilities The development and delivery of projects consistent with the organization's needs. Coordinates with various contractors and consultants Ensures input is provided by the planning and site development division and aids in coordinating product design Oversees the required documentation for project permitting and completion Validates payment applications from consultants and contractors for projects under direct supervision Coordinate as necessary with the municipal staff and agencies Manages the application and receipt of all necessary permits required for land development activity Coordinate and schedule utility construction in accordance with the approved engineering plans Validates scope changes and budget changes for projects under direct supervision Develops and manages the appropriate scope of work for civil and all land development activities Chooses competent professional consultants and contractors to perform services to meet business needs Provides quality control and plan review of all project-related documents Assists acquisition team on due diligence for future land purchases Qualifications: 5+ years in land development and entitlement planning in the home-building industry Strong background in land permits and budgeting. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Accounting, or Construction Management Proven experience in land development management, including site selection, due diligence, entitlements, and construction oversight Compensation: Base salary to 125k/year Benefits #INDALL
