The Preschool Assistant Teacher will assist the classroom teacher and director with implementation of the curriculum and developmental activities, as well as providing care and supervision for meals, bathroom, field trips and cleaning, while following state and accreditation regulations. Must continue education and training per state requirements. Responsibilities: * Assist lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities. * Provide supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. * Support children's emotional, social, and cognitive development through guided play and learning. * Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment. * Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff. * Assist with meal/snack preparation, bathroom and clean-up. * Follow all center policies and licensing regulations. Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years old. * High school diploma required. * Experience working with young children- Minimum of 2 years * Able to meet all Pennsylvania DHS child care licensing requirements, including background checks, clearances, trainings and health assessments. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Passion for working with children in a play-based learning environment, as well as outside, as we are a nature/youth recreation based program.
