As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and hands-on 2nd shift Production Supervisor to lead a team in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The 2nd shift Production Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to production team members to meet daily output, quality, and safety goals. This role plays a critical part in supporting continuous improvement efforts and maintaining a positive, results-driven workplace culture.
Primary Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and direct team activities to meet production schedules and performance targets.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and promoting good housekeeping.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to improve skillsets and job performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Address employee performance issues and administer corrective actions when necessary.
• Resolve production bottlenecks and coordinate timely material flow to avoid delays.
• Manage team schedules, monitor attendance, and approve time off requests.
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate expectations, goals, and operational updates.
• Provide regular feedback to employees and maintain production documentation and reports.
• Proactively address challenges and support cross-functional collaboration to meet targets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within an assembly line or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate hourly production employees.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proactive leadership style with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
