SUMMARY
Supply production lines or manufacturing areas with bulk packaging/manufacturing materials.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• High School diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely in a production environment
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Must be able to fluently speak, write and read English
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to accurately perform mathematical calculations
• Must possess computer skills, demonstrate knowledge of Windows and Lotus Notes required
• Working knowledge of automated inventory tracking systems
• Previous experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or standard operating procedures (SOP) environment required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Working knowledge of the SAP inventory tracking system
• Previous Material Handler experience
• Fork lift experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interact with warehouse on supply/automated inventory system issues
• Supply staging areas with required materials and retrieve bins, drums or super-sacs from airlock
• Identify and return materials, bins, drums or super-sacs to the airlock
• Transport and stock materials using a forklift or hand truck as needed
• Accurately record movements of components, including lot numbers, and quantities into automated inventory system (SAP)
• Utilize automated inventory system (SAP) to conduct the following transactions as needed, scrap transactions, reconciliation, manual transfers, SAP inventory cleanup, etc.
