Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Control Coordinator in Breinigsville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential verification, and/or other security-related policies appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, help to deter unauthorized access, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or vendor activity in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site-specific emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to identify unusual activity, access issues, and/or conditions that may require reporting or follow-up.
• Communicate with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access concerns, policy questions, and/or security-related incidents in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
