About the Role:
The Regional Growth and Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving regional growth, partnerships, and marketing initiatives for Fine Fettle in Georgia. This role functions as a hybrid business development, community engagement, and marketing position focused on expanding patient access, strengthening provider relationships, and increasing brand awareness across the state.
As the regional market expert, this individual understands the unique dynamics of Georgia’s medical cannabis program and works collaboratively with the Director of Marketing, Retail Leadership, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that support patient acquisition, community engagement, and dispensary growth.
This role serves as a key external representative of Fine Fettle in Georgia and will actively build relationships with healthcare providers, patient advocacy organizations, community groups, and strategic partners. The position reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with internal marketing, retail, and compliance teams to ensure initiatives are aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be located in the Atlanta area and have the flexibility to travel regularly to support our retail locations throughout Georgia.
Primary Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:
This role encompasses the following key areas of responsibility, supporting the seamless execution and organization of Fine Fettle’s Georgia marketing initiatives across the business. Key responsibilities include:
Patient Acquisition & Market Development:
• Lead patient acquisition initiatives and track associated metrics to support growth within the Georgia medical cannabis program.
• Identify and develop new opportunities to reach patients through partnerships, provider outreach, community engagement, and marketing channels including digital, field marketing, events, and earned media.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and patient trends within Georgia and provide insights and recommendations to leadership to inform strategy.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships:
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, clinics, advocacy organizations, and community groups to drive patient referrals and program awareness.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare networks, and certifying providers to expand patient certification pathways and improve access to medical cannabis education.
• Represent Fine Fettle at healthcare conferences, community events, patient education forums, and industry functions throughout Georgia.
• Track and manage partnership pipelines and engagement opportunities that contribute to patient growth.
Community Engagement & Representation:
• Ensure Fine Fettle is well represented among relevant organizations and communities throughout Georgia.
• Build relationships with patient groups, advocacy organizations, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders.
• Plan and execute local field marketing initiatives including patient education events, seminars, and grassroots outreach efforts.
• Identify and coordinate sponsorship opportunities that align with Fine Fettle’s mission and brand values.
B2B Marketing:
• Oversee B2B marketing initiatives and partnership programs focused on physician and provider engagement.
• Support the development of educational materials and resources tailored for healthcare providers and referring organizations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective provider communication strategies and referral pathways.
B2C Marketing:
• Support B2C marketing initiatives that drive patient education, awareness, and dispensary traffic in Georgia.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager on localized campaigns including digital marketing, email communications, and patient-focused messaging.
• Identify opportunities for localized marketing initiatives that align with statewide marketing strategies.
Paid Advertising & Creative Collaboration:
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager to provide guidance and local market insight for Georgia-specific advertising strategies.
• Partner with the Marketing Manager to design resources to develop creative assets for in-store, digital, and community marketing initiatives.
Retail Collaboration:
• Partner with the Retail team to develop promotional programs and in-store activations tailored to meet Georgia sales goals.
• Regularly visit Fine Fettle dispensary locations throughout Georgia to ensure merchandising, brand standards, and marketing initiatives are properly executed.
• Act as the primary liaison between retail operations and the marketing team to ensure alignment between in-store initiatives and broader marketing strategies.
State-Specific Campaigns:
• Lead the development and execution of Georgia-specific campaigns including new store openings, patient registration initiatives, product launches, and promotional programs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission (GAMCC) regulations and internal compliance standards.
• Track key performance indicators including leads, new patients, conversion rates, event performance, and campaign effectiveness.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of monthly Marketing Metrics Reports and Listening & Insights Reports.
• Conduct post-campaign evaluations to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
Team Leadership:
• Provide leadership and guidance to Field Marketing Associates or other supporting team members.
• Foster a collaborative and communicative team environment that supports growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, business development, partnerships, or market growth roles.
• Experience working in a regulated industry such as cannabis, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or alcohol is strongly preferred.
• Proven success developing and executing multi-faceted marketing or market development strategies.
• Demonstrated experience building strategic partnerships and referral networks.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to represent the company externally.
• Experience working with healthcare providers, medical professionals, or advocacy organizations is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to track performance metrics, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Adaptable and responsive to feedback with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior within emerging or regulated markets.
• Leadership experience managing team members directly or indirectly.
• This is a remote position, with a requirement that candidates MUST reside in Georgia. Preference will be given to those based in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
• Must be willing to travel regularly throughout the state.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with OKRs and performance tracking frameworks is a plus.
• Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods is advantageous.
• Ability to pass a Federal Background Check with no felony convictions
